BENEFICIARIES
THE TYMES TRUST
TYMES, The Young ME Sufferer (established 1989) was the
first independent UK organisation supporting young people
with ME and their carers, providing both information about the
condition and a connection with the wider community.
Already represented on the Chief Medical Officer's Working Group on
CFS/ME, in June 2000 TYMES became a registered charity,
Tymes Trust, and now works in partnership with the UK
Internet organisation youngactiononline.com. The Trust is
committed to providing continued and expanding high quality
services, whilst maintaining our long-established personal
approach.
During 2000, Tymes Trust set up its Research Fund with a view
to furthering knowledge of the mechanisms and aetiology of
ME. We welcome the opportunity for partnership with the
2001 Odyssey for ME.
